Shattered Glass
pairings: Yami no Yuugi x Yuugi, Bakura x Ryou, Honda x Miho, Jou x Mai, Anzu+Yami no Yuugi
[AR; all yami have separated from their hikari, but Yami no Yuugi still doesn't know his real name]
As Anzu tries to sort out her own confused feelings for Yuugi and Yami no Yuugi, she tries to further separate the two and categorize who she likes by their individual personalities. When talking to Yami no Yuugi, she attempt to impress that Yami no Yuugi is not his own person, and is being shadowed by Yuugi, and will continue to be so until he leaves Yuugi to become his own person. She doesn't realize that she is the catalyst for breaking a perfect soul in two. Horrified and broken at his yami's firm declaration of complete independence, Yuugi is given a pep talk by a calm Ryou (complete with snide comments about the pharaoh by Yami no Bakura), and realizes that to move on, he will need to pack his own yami into his past. When Yami no Yuugi returns, half insane from being parted from the other half of his soul, Yuugi is not going to make it easy for him to return into his good graces.
notes: very light Anzu-bashing... she's not portrayed in the nicest light...
